Think about the fresh strawberries that start to show up during spring and Easter and picking them on a hot summer’s day. There is nothing like a ripe strawberry. You could enjoy a strawberry some more by making a strawberry martini. Here is one great strawberry martini recipe that you should not miss.

Chill a martini glass by putting in the freezer. If you like, you can also rim the glass with sugar. To rim a glass for a strawberry martini, slice a very ripe strawberry then rub around the glass rim. The rim of the glass should be barely coated with strawberry juice, then dip the glass in a bowl of sugar. Put fresh strawberries in a shaker and mash using a wooden spoon.

Put ice in the shaker and pour the desired amount of strawberry vodka, a teaspoon of sugar, depending on the sweetness you prefer and a squirt of strawberry syrup. Shake the strawberry martini until it is mixed well, for about 20 seconds. Pour the drink into the martini glass, then garnish the glass with a fresh strawberry and enjoy. Strawberry martinis are one of the most delicious martini variations these days. Enjoy the drink with family and friends.
