What could be more refreshing than an orange martini? These days, martinis are festive and fun! The next time you host a get-together or simply in the mood for something light, consider making an Orange Martini. Your palate never had it so good with this drink.

In making an Orange Martini, you need ½ oz. triple sec, juice from 2 oranges, 2 oz. vodka, and 1 thin strip orange cut horizontally and crushed ice. Mix the first four ingredients in the cocktail shaker with enough ice and shake, and then strain into a martini glass. Tie strip in a loose knot and place on the glass rim for garnish.

Another recipe for an Orange Martini includes ingredients such as triple sec, vodka, shaker, ice, orange bitters, cocktail sugar and a slice of orange. Take a chilled martini glass and wipe the orange slice around the glass rim. Dip rim in a cocktail sugar, shake off excess guar and place the orange slice on the glass edge. Mix ingredients in a shaker, combine 3 parts vodka, a dash of triple sec and sprinkle with orange bitters. Place in the shaker, cover and shake for around fifteen seconds. Remove the top of the shaker, and pour the drink into the martini glass.
